About Us
Founder's Story
After building and exiting out of two successful tech companies - one in fashion, one in fintech - I did something rare for an entrepreneur: I tried to retire. I didn't make it two days. The next thing I knew, we'd opened a restaurant. Then another. Then another. Now we're running nearly 15 across Florida's Gulf Coast. Don't ask me how that happened - if you own a restaurant, you already know.
But here's what hit me fast:
Running a restaurant is hard. Running it with clunky tech? Borderline impossible.
From day one, I was on the ground, in the kitchen, fixing problems on the fly. And the biggest headache? The tech. As we scaled, the pain points became unbearable: disconnected systems forcing managers to juggle multiple logins. These inventory data never matched reality, and the reporting was always a week behind when we needed it. We required a dozen tools to keep basic operations running, and even then, critical information still fell through the cracks. We were duct-taping a dozen tools together to keep the doors open, which was time-consuming.
As someone who's built software before, I knew it didn't have to be this way.
But most of the systems out there were built by people who have never worked a dinner rush, let alone run a restaurant. So when the pandemic hit, I saw the opportunity to solve this challenge, which appeared to be industry-wide. I rolled up my sleeves and assembled a team to build a world-class system I wished existed. This time, I wasn't just creating software - I was solving our daily operational headaches from the inside out. Kluck was built from the kitchen out. It unifies everything - front-of-house, online ordering, inventory, labor, and real-time analytics - into one intuitive platform that works for restaurants. It even works when your Wi-Fi doesn't.
I'm not just a tech guy trying to break into restaurants. I'm a restaurant guy with a family business and a deep respect for how hard this work is.
We use Kluck every day in all of our locations.
It's not theory. It's field-tested, grease-proof, and built to survive the 6 p.m. rush. It's not just a POS. It's peace of mind. If you're tired of stitching systems together with hope and kitchen tape, we get it. We built Kluck for you. It's the system we wish we had years ago. And now you don't have to wish.
